A little bit about me…
Hello & Welcome where I share some of the work I’ve done, an insight of things I love, and interests. I simply love creating things, which is what I spend a significant amount of time doing as an architectural designer. Some of my professional interests aside from architecture include user experience and product development.
I earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston in 2017 and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management & Digital Marketing Strategies from the University of Connecticut in 2022.
During my time in Houston while I was in school, I was working with a team designing projects with multi-million dollar budgets such as airports (IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby) and sports facilities such as, Ferttita Center. Upon graduating from University of Houston, I needed a break from the Houston heat and moved back to Connecticut to be closer to family. From there I gained experience working with companies designing interior spaces and airport baggage handling systems for projects (such as Newark International Airport, JFK, & Westchester County Airport). I then went on to focus on collaborating with a group of talented architects designing high-rise residential buildings and schools throughout the states of Connecticut and California. In the 5+ years of experience that I have working in various projects, I’ve been able to gain invaluable experience and skills that have helped me grow in my profession.
Outside of my profession, I have a variety of interests which include jiu jitsu, painting, traveling, hiking with my chocolate lab, and last but not least, Flying. I’ve wanted fly my entire life and finally did. Aside from learning how to fly a Piper Warrior, unconsciously, flying has helped me become comfortable with the uncomfortable. Every time I land, I realize the unlimited potential of our lives. Training Jiu Jitsu has also helped me grow in my personal and professional life through out the years. I am a true believer in the idea of stepping out of our comfort zones in order to grow. Maybe that is why I like flying so much and my love for the sport of Jiu Jitsu. As Suzanne F. Stevens once said, “On the other side of comfort is optimized potential, and if we don’t explore this place, we limit our limitless possibilities.” In architecture, this is also my reminder that it is important to continue to push the boundaries of sustainable design for the health of our planet.
Thank you for being here!
